The Substation Relay Superintendent is a safety-focused technical leader responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability of protective relaying, control systems, and substation automation equipment across the transmission and distribution network. This role provides leadership to relay technicians and protection & control personnel while ensuring compliance with NERC, FERC, OSHA, company standards, and industry best practices. The Superintendent is accountable for maintaining system reliability, employee safety, asset performance, and operational excellence. Travel to different job sites, including out-of-state locations, may be required based on operational and customer needs. This position reports to the Region Vice President.
