About The Position

Global Network Banking (GNB) provides banking coverage to the subsidiaries of Global Corporates and International Middle Market clients within Corporate and Institutional Banking. The GNB strategy is to provide consistent, in-depth, and dedicated coverage across the HSBC network with the end goal of deepening our relationship with our clients. Operating in the world’s largest economy, GNB in the United States plays a critical role in the firm’s client coverage proposition. The Portfolio Managed (PM) Team within GNB is focused on client acquisition, delivering differentiated solutions, and maintaining the highest level of global standards. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a relationship manager to join GNB, specifically supporting the inbound opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity to help grow the business in this core segment and to partner with the next generation of builders.

Requirements

  • Experience in cash management, treasury services, client service and business development
  • Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills; proven ability to collaborate across teams
  • Demonstrated ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and priorities
  • Excellent analytical and research capability
  • Strong time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Superior work ethic, self-motivation, and uncompromising attention to detail
  • Proven ability to build authentic, long-term relationships and originate business to develop a high-quality portfolio

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain a high-volume client portfolio, ensuring consistent, high-quality coverage and service
  • Drive growth from inbound opportunities by proactively engaging with global partners and internal stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to connect customers to HSBC solutions across products and services (e.g., cash management/treasury)
  • Partner closely with other Global Businesses and Product & Service Partners to originate and execute client opportunities
  • Develop and implement relationship strategies that deepen engagement and strengthen long-term client loyalty
  • Anticipate customer needs using strong analytical and research skills; translate insights into actionable plans
  • Deliver superior client experience aligned to HSBC’s global standards and GNB’s coverage model
  • Maintain strong discipline on execution: prioritization, attention to detail, and timely follow-through
  • Act as a leader within GNB, representing the franchise with professionalism and a growth mindset
