Requirements

  • Minimum of eight years related work experience.
  • Five years experience in Financial Services and Relationship Management strongly preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • This job requires a regulatory license and/or registration (e.g. FINRA, state, SFC). These will be determined by Compliance based on role-specific duties.

Responsibilities

  • Manages complex relationships with existing clients.
  • Supports strategy planning for a book of business.
  • Tracks growth opportunities, contributes to business planning activities, and drives client retention and loyalty through strategic and consultative guidance.
  • Proactively assesses client needs through strategic planning and consultations.
  • Recommends service and operational enhancements.
  • Presents recommendations to key client decision makers.
  • Resolves complex client issues related to products, services, or processes.
  • Drives the development and implementation of potential solutions to meet client needs.
  • Leverages experience and internal network to determine creative solutions for clients, often requiring cross-functional collaboration and cross-team ownership.
  • Uses advanced knowledge of Vanguard funds, products, and services compared to our competitors.
  • Strategically position Vanguard's products and services and enhance client loyalty.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
