As a Relationship Manager III within PNC's Corporate Banking organization, you will be based in Chicago, IL. This role involves setting relationship strategies and directing relationship management activities with new and/or existing clients to grow sales, revenue, and market share. Typically, this role works with clients with advanced levels of risk and complexity. The Relationship Manager III works independently and may mentor other team members. This role creates and drives strategy to acquire, expand, and retain client relationships to generate revenue and deepen share of wallet. Responsibilities include the origination, financial analysis, negotiation, and documentation of credit and non-credit products and services. The role manages risk/return and drives quality for clients, actively identifying and mitigating various risks such as regulatory, reputational, operational, and credit risks. The focus is on client opportunities by providing insights based on understanding client needs and financial well-being, driving client engagement and loyalty. The role generates ideas and best practices within Relationship Management and may mentor others. It involves managing an effective network of senior internal and external relationships to acquire new clients, expand existing ones, and enhance the client experience. The position focuses on bringing the entire bank's products and services to the client and leverages reporting and sales tools to identify and convert sales opportunities. The role requires the ability to analyze, evaluate, and mitigate credit risk for complex credit requests using advanced credit fundamentals and internal credit policies.
