This role works closely with divisions such as Credit, Operations, Construction, and Valuations to create, enhance, and facilitate a seamless process, ensuring an excellent customer experience throughout the client relationship. The Relationship Manager will oversee the client onboarding process, coordinate workflow between departments to ensure loans close on schedule, and lead periodic team huddles to manage the Sales POD pipeline. They will effectively communicate the Ascent value proposition, collaborate with various teams on loan analysis and structuring, and manage individual loan portfolios. Responsibilities include collecting financial reports, overseeing project updates, following up on post-closing conditions, preparing loan modifications, coordinating covenant compliance, monitoring exposure limits, and facilitating annual renewals. Additionally, the role involves following up on loan payments, monitoring reserves and servicing reports, and maintaining regular contact with borrowers to foster strong relationships. Participation in networking activities and assisting with assigned projects are also key aspects of the role.
