About The Position

State Street Investment Management’s US Institutional Client Coverage Group is hiring a Relationship Manager, AVP (RM). In this role, the RM will deliver an exceptional client experience across the full lifecycle of their assigned institutional client relationships. Working as part of a highly collaborative client coverage team, the RM will help manage the day-to-day needs of assigned clients, with a focus on strengthening relationships, supporting retention, and identifying opportunities for growth. To be successful, the RM must develop a strong understanding of State Street Investment Management’s investment and operational capabilities, service offerings, culture, and vision to diagnose issues and solve problems effectively. The RM will build relationships across the Client Coverage Group, Client Business Office, Operations, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and other internal teams supporting the end-to-end client lifecycle. The RM will partner with colleagues on client engagement initiatives, complex client matters, and broader efforts to improve client experience.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an institutional client-facing role at an asset management firm.
  • BS or BA required.
  • Series 3, 7 and 63 required or must be obtained within 6 months after hire date.

  • Comprehension of firm capabilities and services to deliver solutions supporting client goals.
  • Proficiency in navigating complex client relationships, including the support of client onboarding and change events ensuring a thorough understanding of client expectations.
  • Partnership with business development teams on strategic client growth and sales initiatives.
  • Reinforce accountability and ownership with internal stakeholders.
  • Lead, prioritize and execute multiple simultaneous priorities and initiatives.
  • Form and cultivate positive relationships with both clients and internal partners.
