The Relationship Banking Specialist is responsible for attracting, advising, and serving existing and prospective customers. This role involves having in-depth conversations to help customers achieve financial wellness, providing extraordinary service to generate referral opportunities, and responding promptly to customer needs. The specialist will develop a customer calling list, conduct High Touch Calls to analyze and proactively recommend solutions, and resolve customer problems. Daily IQ Lead calls are expected to retain business and acquire new customers. The role also requires developing and maintaining broad knowledge of products and services, collaborating with internal business partners (Wealth Management, Electronic Banking, Loan departments) to offer comprehensive financial solutions, and processing various transactions such as opening new accounts, handling teller transactions, and processing cash advances and pre-paid cards. Proficiency in Electronic Banking is needed to provide solutions and answer technical questions. Administrative support to the PBO/Supervisor and team is also a key function, including report completion, correspondence, filing, managing phone inquiries, contacting overdraft and delinquent customers, file maintenance, requisitioning supplies, maintaining scanners and ATMs, balancing cash, transferring cash, performing check cashing overrides, and opening/closing the branch in the supervisor's absence. Strict adherence to security procedures, the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, and safeguarding customer information is mandatory. The role also involves participating in departmental goal setting and progress evaluation through various meetings (Daily 5 Minute Meetings, Weekly Relationship Building Conference Calls, Weekly Branch Based Sales Meetings, Monthly Employee Relations Meetings). Other duties as assigned are also part of the role.
