About The Position

The Relationship Banker role involves a combination of customer service, sales, and operational tasks within a branch setting. The individual will be responsible for understanding and promoting the bank's products and services, identifying opportunities to cross-sell, and partnering with other business lines. This role requires performing teller and platform transactions accurately and efficiently, while also engaging in outbound sales activities to build and maintain customer relationships. A key aspect of the job is providing excellent customer service, resolving issues, and maintaining confidentiality. The position also requires consistent use of the customer management system to document interactions and manage campaigns. Responsibilities

  • Attain complete knowledge of products and services, recognize referral opportunities and successfully partner with appropriate business lines including mortgage, wealth, cash management, commercial lending and residential lending
  • Perform all teller and platform transactions promptly, efficiently and accurately.
  • Deliver and cross-sell banking products in conjunction with customers’ needs through platform interactions and teller line transitions
  • Assist in the attainment of branch-specific goals in conjunction with bank initiatives and the strategic plan
  • Provide best in class customer service to customers regarding daily transactions, addressing inquiries, problem resolution and customer follow up in accordance with all bank policies and expectations
  • Perform outbound sales activities including prospecting and outbound calling to prospective and existing customers, in persona, virtual and via phone.
  • Maintain a position of trust and responsibility by keeping all customers’ business confidential in accordance with bank policy
  • Operate technology as required
  • Consistent utilization of the customer management system to document customer and prospect interactions, send referrals and update campaigns.
