About The Position

Responsible for providing an industry-leading client service experience in person and over the phone by developing and expanding new and existing client relationships. Provides financial solutions based on consultative conversations and referrals to other business partners to support business growth. The role is cross-trained to perform teller duties as needed, including transactions and assisting clients as they navigate the branch. The position requires Saturday work, as well as the ability to work weekends or extended hours and travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• At least 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients and building client relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including willingness to interact with clients and prospects.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliant within 30 days of employment, including required registration and NMLS background check; must meet ongoing regulatory requirements.
• Ability to multitask under time constraints.
• Ability to travel as needed to accommodate temporary staffing needs, including temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours; occasional travel and overnight stays may be included.

Responsibilities

• Handle routine client maintenance requests, resolve problems, and perform advanced sales functions involving deposit, credit, convenience, and other products and services.
• Contribute to individual and branch client-service and sales targets by offering products and services and developing, expanding, and retaining client relationships.
• Conduct consultative conversations and act on or refer complex client needs and financial goals to internal specialists.
• Participate in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
• Build sales technique and product knowledge through meetings, training classes, and web-based learning.
• Advise clients on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
• Follow internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies, and stay informed about policy and procedure changes.
• Provide consistent, courteous client service during transactions, uncover client needs, handle teller transactions as needed, and help clients navigate the branch.
