About The Position

The Relationship Banker is the face of TexasBank, responsible for delivering exceptional service, developing long-term customer relationships, and supporting all branch functions. This role combines sales, service, and operational support to meet customer needs and contribute to overall branch success.

Requirements

  • Two years of retail banking experience.
  • Familiarity with computers and banking applications/software.
  • Solid understanding of direct/indirect lending products and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Flexible to work weekends and/or extended hours, as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding financial needs and recommending tailored solutions.
  • Achieve branch goals by identifying customer needs and promoting appropriate TexasBank products and services.
  • Educate customers on consumer banking products and digital solutions such as online banking, mobile apps, and ATMs to enhance convenience and engagement.
  • Refer customers to internal experts when more complex financial goals or specialized services are identified.
  • Answer customer inquiries, fulfill basic service requests (e.g., new/replacement cards, PIN resets, address changes), and resolve common banking issues.
  • Provide consistent, accurate, and professional service while performing teller transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other routine financial activities.
  • Offer teller support as needed to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all transactions.
  • Assist Loan Officers with administrative tasks related to loan processing and may coordinate loan closings, if applicable.
  • Support branch operations by assisting team members with customer service and problem resolution needs.
  • Follow all bank processes, procedures, and compliance requirements, including applicable laws and regulations.
  • Complete duties delegated or assigned by the Branch Manager and help identify and manage operational risks.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned to support organizational objectives and branch efficiency.
