Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of financial institution, banking, or credit union operations experience supporting customers in person or over the phone.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills and proficiency in using common office applications and office equipment.
- Passion for providing outstanding customer service and a positive attitude.
- Effective time management skills include prioritizing multiple responsibilities and organizing work tasks.
- Experience in controlling negotiable instruments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high attention to detail.
- Ownership of the customer experience through issue resolution.
- Adaptable to a productive team environment where knowledge is shared, and feedback and coaching are welcomed.

- 6 months of cash-handling preferred.
Responsibilities
- Serves as the welcoming face of Velocity Credit Union and plays a critical role in building member trust and engagement.
- Blends traditional teller responsibilities with foundational banker skills, focusing on creating exceptional experiences through meaningful interactions and personalized service.
- Helps members with day-to-day financial needs, educates them on digital tools, and introduces solutions that simplify their financial lives.
