About The Position

At Bank of America, the Relationship Banker helps make financial lives better through client connections and responsible growth. The position engages clients in the financial center lobby, educates and assists them with transactions through self-service resources such as mobile banking, online banking, and ATMs, and accurately processes cash transactions as needed. Through in-depth conversations, the banker learns about clients’ financial and life priorities and connects them with solutions that support their financial goals. The role is open across the Houston Loop market, with the specific financial center location determined by business needs. New hires train at one financial center and may subsequently move to another location within a reasonable commuting distance of home, as permitted by applicable law. Bank of America maintains an in-office culture with role-specific attendance requirements and flexibility considerations.

Nice To Haves

Vietnamese, Chinese, or Spanish bilingual ability is highly desired.
Experience in financial services and knowledge of financial services products and solutions.
One year of demonstrated successful sales experience in a salary-plus-incentive environment with individual sales goals.
Six months of cash-handling experience.
Bachelor’s degree or business-relevant associate degree, such as business management, business administration, or finance.
Skills: adaptability, business acumen, customer and client focus, oral communications, problem solving, account management, client experience branding, client management, client solutions advisory, relationship building, business development, pipeline management, prospecting, referral identification, and referral management.
