About The Position

At Bank of America, Relationship Bankers help make financial lives better through client connections and responsible growth. The role engages clients in the lobby, educates and assists them with transactions through self-service resources such as mobile banking, online banking, and ATMs, and accurately processes cash transactions when needed. Relationship Bankers have in-depth conversations to understand clients’ financial and life priorities and connect them with solutions that support their financial goals. The position is based in the Charlotte Central Market area and follows the bank’s in-office culture and role-specific expectations.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, secondary school, or equivalent.
Enthusiastic, highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and focus on results, acting in the client’s best interest.
Collaborates effectively and builds and nurtures strong relationships.
Demonstrates passion, commitment, and drive to improve clients’ financial lives.
Confidently identifies solutions for new and existing clients based on their needs.

Ability to educate clients on conducting simple banking transactions through self-service technologies such as ATMs, online banking, and mobile banking.

Follows established processes and guidelines and complies with applicable laws and regulations.
Efficiently manages time and capacity.
Focuses on results while acting in the client’s best interest.
Able to work weekends and/or extended hours, which may include being scheduled at any financial center location within a reasonable distance.

Nice To Haves

Experience in financial services and knowledge of the financial services industry, products, and solutions.
One year of demonstrated successful sales experience in a salary-plus-incentive environment with individual sales goals.
Six months of cash-handling experience.
Bachelor’s degree or business-relevant associate degree, such as business management, business administration, or finance.
