About The Position

This role is for an outgoing individual with a passion for helping others improve their financial future, looking to take the next step in their career within the financial industry. The position involves working with a supportive team in a professional yet relaxed environment. The primary focus is on providing excellent member service, which includes proactively and professionally acknowledging everyone who enters the branch. The role also requires cross-selling services that benefit members, tracking referred or sold products, opening new accounts, processing and funding consumer loan applications, and processing real estate applications. Daily responsibilities include supporting branch operations through end-of-day balancing, scanning checks, providing dual control for vault cash and card supplies, and totaling branch cash to ensure the security of confidential information.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years financial institution or similar industry experience in a retail branch environment.
Minimum of 12 months opening new accounts.
Experience with consumer loan processing.
Accurate cash handling.
Proactive sales experience.
Ability to actively cross-sell products & services.
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of member’s information.

Responsibilities

Proactively and professionally acknowledging anyone who enters the branch.
Cross-sell services that would benefit members.
Properly track products and services referred or sold.
Open new accounts (new shares for existing members).
Process and fund all consumer loan applications.
Process real estate applications.
Support branch operations with end-of-day balancing by scanning checks.
Provide dual control to balance the vault cash and card supplies.
Total branch cash and checking to ensure all confidential information is secure.
