About The Position

As a Relationship Banker, you will provide exceptional customer experience, assist with new deposit accounts, educate customers and prospects on appropriate products, assist on the teller line, and support the overall growth efforts of the bank. The Relationship Banker will assist customers with all teller functions and will need to understand related compliance regulations related to applicable bank services.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.
Prefer 2-3 years customer service/sales experience.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Bank Secrecy Act, Privacy, and Funds Availability regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer experience.
Assist with new deposit accounts.
Educate customers and prospects on appropriate products.
Assist on the teller line.
Support the overall growth efforts of the bank.
Assist customers with all teller functions.
Understand related compliance regulations related to applicable bank services.
Be knowledgeable about and educate customers on additional banking products and services such as Checking and Savings Accounts, Certificates of Deposit, IRAs, Debit Cards and Electronic Banking.
Prioritize the customer's best interest in sales related activities.
Create an exceptional customer experience from start to finish.
Be familiar with other products the bank offers and actively build partnerships with those who sell them.
Refer customers to the appropriate department/individual for products outside of Retail and establish deposit relationships to compliment customers of other parts of the bank.
Be an expert in digital banking, guiding customers to maximize the accessibility and convenience of their account with these tools.
Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to learn additional functions to meet business and customer needs.
Complete all account establishment and servicing in accordance with bank policy and procedure.
Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail in all operational duties.
Perform paying and receiving functions for customers, including deposits, withdrawals, transfer requests, and the sale of monetary instruments.
Understand and comply with the related laws and compliance regulations that pertain to the job function (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act, Privacy, Funds Availability).
Follow bank-wide policies and procedures.
Ensure accuracy in cash counting, cash drawer balancing within assigned limits, and cash security.
Assist in running branch capture/proof and adhere to the appropriate daily schedule for completion.
Maintain branch equipment and report any issues to supervisor.
Fill and balance the ATM.
Process night and mail deposits.
Perform currency exchange.
