About The Position

Wintrust is seeking a full-time Relationship Banker to join their team. This role involves building and retaining meaningful relationships with customers, using financial knowledge to recommend solutions, and contributing to branch success. The position is a dual role, requiring collaboration with business partners, operating a teller drawer, opening accounts, performing account maintenance, assisting with digital products, and recognizing potential fraud. Depending on the shift, responsibilities may include bank opening/closing and supporting community/bank events. Requirements

1-3 years of experience in a customer service, financial service, or sales role
High School Degree or equivalent
Intermediate computer skills
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

Build and retain meaningful relationships with customers.
Use financial knowledge to recommend thoughtful solutions to meet customer needs.
Discover customer financial needs and tailor product and service recommendations.
Collaborate with business partners (Mortgage, Wealth Management) to connect customers to experts.
Operate a teller drawer serving customers in the lobby/drive-up.
Open accounts, perform account maintenance, and assist customers with digital products.
Recognize potential fraud and other risks.
Support community and bank events.
Potentially be responsible for bank opening/closing depending on the shift.
