Macatawa Bank, now part of Wintrust Financial Corporation, is seeking a Relationship Banker. This role involves building and retaining meaningful customer relationships by utilizing financial knowledge to recommend tailored solutions. It is a dual role that contributes to branch success through various customer service and operational tasks.

Requirements

1-3 years of experience in a customer service, financial service, or sales role
High School diploma or GED required
Intermediate computer skills
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

Building lasting relationships with customers, discovering their financial needs and tailoring product and service recommendations
Collaborating with business partners (Mortgage, Wealth Management) to connect customers to experts who can help with specialized needs
Operating a teller drawer serving customers in the lobby/drive-up
Opening accounts, performing account maintenance, and assisting customers with digital products
Recognizing potential fraud and other risks
Being responsible for bank opening/closing (depending on the shift)
Helping support community and bank events
