About The Position

Wintrust is seeking a full-time Relationship Banker to join their team. This role involves building and retaining meaningful customer relationships, recommending financial solutions, and contributing to branch success. The position is a dual role that includes operating a teller drawer, opening accounts, performing account maintenance, assisting with digital products, recognizing potential fraud, and potentially being responsible for bank opening/closing depending on the shift. The role also involves supporting community and bank events.

Requirements

1-3 years of experience in a customer service, financial service, or sales role
High School diploma or GED required
Intermediate computer skills
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

Build lasting relationships with customers, discovering their financial needs and tailoring product and service recommendations
Collaborate with business partners (Mortgage, Wealth Management) to connect customers to experts who can help with specialized needs
Operate a teller drawer serving customers in the lobby/drive-up
Open accounts, perform account maintenance and assist customers with digital products
Recognize potential fraud and other risks
Depending on the shift, might be responsible for bank opening/closing
Help support community and bank events
