About The Position

Wintrust is seeking a full-time Relationship Banker to join Chicago's Bank®. As a Relationship Banker, you will build and retain meaningful relationships with customers, using your financial knowledge to recommend thoughtful solutions to meet their needs. This dual role contributes to the success of the branch by building lasting relationships, discovering financial needs, tailoring product and service recommendations, and collaborating with business partners. You will also operate a teller drawer, open accounts, perform account maintenance, assist with digital products, and recognize potential fraud. Depending on the shift, you may be responsible for bank opening/closing and supporting community and bank events.

Requirements

1-3 years of experience in a customer service, financial service, or sales role.
Retail banking experience preferred.
High School Degree or equivalent.
Intermediate computer skills.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Build and retain meaningful relationships with customers.
Use financial knowledge to recommend thoughtful solutions to meet customer needs.
Discover customer financial needs and tailor product and service recommendations.
Collaborate with business partners (Mortgage, Wealth Management) to connect customers to experts.
Operate a teller drawer serving customers in the lobby/drive-up.
Open accounts, perform account maintenance, and assist customers with digital products.
Recognize potential fraud and other risks.
Depending on the shift, be responsible for bank opening/closing.
Support community and bank events.
