The Relationship Banker/SRRB position is responsible for providing an industry-leading client service experience both in person and on the phone. This involves developing and expanding new and existing client relationships, providing financial solutions that meet client needs through consultative conversations, and referring clients to other business partners for additional growth opportunities. The role also includes being cross-trained to perform teller duties as needed. The position requires advanced proficiency in routine client maintenance, problem resolution, and sales functions related to various product lines. It contributes to meeting sales targets by offering products and services focused on relationship development, expansion, and retention. The role supports the team sales process by conducting consultative conversations and referring complex client needs to specialists. It also involves participating in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines, advancing individual knowledge of sales techniques and product knowledge, advising on consumer lending options, taking loan applications, and adhering to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies. Ensuring a consistent client service experience through courteous engagement and transaction handling is also a key aspect, which may include performing teller transactions and assisting clients within the branch.
