The Relationship Banker / SrRB position is responsible for providing an industry-leading client service experience both in person and on the phone. This involves developing and expanding new and existing client relationships, and providing financial solutions that meet client needs through consultative conversations. The role also involves referring clients to other business partners for additional growth opportunities and will be cross-trained to perform teller duties as needed. The position requires advanced proficiency in routine client maintenance, problem resolution, and sales functions related to various product and service lines. It contributes to meeting or exceeding sales targets by offering products and services with a focus on relationship development, expansion, and retention. The role supports the team sales process by conducting consultative conversations and referring complex client needs to specialists. It also requires full participation in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines and a commitment to advancing individual knowledge of sales techniques and product knowledge through various training opportunities. Additionally, the role involves advising on consumer lending options, taking loan applications, adhering to internal controls and risk management policies, and ensuring a consistent client service experience through courteous interaction and transaction handling, which may include teller duties and assisting clients within the branch.
