About The Position

At Regions, the Relationship Banker II meets with customers and prospects in person and by phone to determine their financial needs, then proactively offers appropriate products, services, and guidance to help them achieve their financial goals. The role is suited to candidates with retail or sales experience who are interested in career growth, development, and upward mobility. It requires an individually driven, competitive team member who can identify customer needs and communicate effectively. The position is based at the Terrell Mill branch in Marietta, Georgia. It is full-time, incentive-eligible, and eligible for overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act. The role requires registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS).

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to work Saturdays as needed.
Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions.
Ability to communicate in person, by phone, and through electronic channels.
Ability to use a computer frequently, including typing and maintaining sustained attention to a monitor.
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
Registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) is required.

Responsibilities

Achieve branch targets and goals by identifying customer needs and providing guidance about Regions’ solutions.
Make outbound calls using customer and prospect lead lists to expand existing relationships and acquire new customers.
Educate and advise customers on Regions’ consumer and business products and services, including loan and deposit products.
Educate customers about digital banking options, including mobile, online, and ATM services.
Provide a consistent customer experience, including sharing responsibility for greeting customers and processing transactions.
Take ownership of and resolve customer issues.
Refer customers to internal experts when complex financial goals or needs are identified.
Follow bank processes and procedures and applicable laws and regulations, complete duties assigned by the Branch Manager, and help maintain sound banking practices by managing, identifying, and reporting operational risks.
