The Relationship Banker II is responsible for creating an exceptional customer experience by establishing, maintaining, and deepening relationships. This involves determining customer needs, opening deposit accounts, processing loans, providing deposit and loan account servicing, performing teller transactions, and initiating referrals to other areas of the bank. The role requires following the bank's established sales and service process, analyzing customer needs to make appropriate recommendations, and performing account openings, customer maintenance, and loan processing and closing in accordance with established procedures. The position also involves proactive engagement in campaigns and promotions, effective use of CRM for customer relationship management, and identifying customer needs to cross-sell and refer to partners like Business Banking, Treasury Management, Wealth Management, and Trust. Compliance with all federal and state laws, regulations, and bank policies is essential. The role may also involve processing reporting, handling various customer transactions including cash handling, processing consumer loans, adhering to safety and security protocols, assisting with banking center operations (including Saturday rotation), managing and overseeing a customer portfolio, mentoring colleagues, and supporting branch leadership. Effective use of all banker role applications and systems is required, along with performing other assigned duties.
