About The Position

We are seeking a Relationship Banker to provide excellent service to customers and identify products and solutions to meet their financial needs for BSNB's branches in the Capital District. A DAY IN THE LIFE On a daily basis, the Relationship Banker II will provide service to customers completing deposit and loan transactions, receipt and payment of cash, and other service related functions. You will be responsible for identifying customer needs and offering appropriate product and service solutions. This position is also responsible for performing personal account opening, closing, Certificate of Deposit (CD) renewals and other transactions of a complex nature. The Relationship Banker II will serve as a back-up to the Relationship Manager and maintain the ability to operate the branch independently, including branch operations and staff supervision. This position may also be required to work at other branch locations. Our branches operate Monday through Saturday; Saturday availability is required.

Requirements

  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree.
  • Prior experience in a sales and/or service oriented environment.
  • Prior cash handling experience required.
  • One to three years' experience in a customer-focused setting, banking preferred.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task required.
  • Saturday availability is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in business or related field preferred.
