We have the following job opportunity in our New York City office: Description We are seeking a data analyst with (re)insurance industry expertise to join our growing Global Portfolio Management team in New York. This role will design and build solutions to improve efficiency and consistency across underwriting processes, data capture workflows, and reporting architecture, while supporting portfolio management and global underwriting operations.

Requirements

  • 2 - 5 years of experience in the (re)insurance industry, with an understanding of underwriting processes, data, and information systems.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, Excel, and Microsoft Power Platform applications.
  • Experience with Snowflake or similar data platforms for business intelligence and machine learning.
  • Strong data management, analytics, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
  • Curious, self-motivated, and solutions-oriented team player.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with line of business (LOB) stakeholders to gather, manipulate, and analyze data, delivering insights that drive business decisions.
  • Designing and building LOB-specific workflows and data capture tools to streamline underwriting processes (e.g., automated UW rationales).
  • Building reporting, analytics, and data visualization tools to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Supporting regional underwriting and global portfolio teams through the annual budget process.
  • Collaborating with IT, Actuarial, and other departments to support business initiatives and Global Portfolio Management priorities.
