About The Position
This internship focuses on the world of reinsurance, where individuals learn about risk mitigation solutions, contract negotiation, portfolio management, and general reinsurance decision-making for clients. The intern will work both independently and as part of a team, contributing to reinsurance placements, client initiatives, and the creation of marketing materials. Additionally, the role involves performing risk analysis, financial modeling, and market research.
Requirements
- Actively pursuing a degree majoring in Risk Management, Insurance, Finance Mathematics, Accounting or Economics
- Have a GPA of 3.5+
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Pay close attention to detail
- Legally authorized to work in the US
- Able to clearly communicate thoughts and ideas both in writing and in person
- Able to handle multiple tasks and projects at the same time in a client service, deadline-driven environment
Responsibilities
- Help with reinsurance placements and client initiatives
- Help in tracking reinsurance placements
- Help with the creation of client marketing materials
