About The Position

CLA is a top 10 national professional services firm dedicated to creating opportunities for clients, people, and communities. We are seeking a Healthcare Reimbursement Director to join our Healthcare Group in Dallas, Fort Worth, or Houston, Texas. This role will serve various healthcare entities by providing Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement related services. The Director will collaborate with team members and clients on planning and preparing Medicare and Medicaid cost reports and consulting projects, reporting to Healthcare Principals and Signing Directors.

Requirements

6 or more years of relevant experience is required.
Bachelor's degree is required.
Degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
Knowledge of Medicare program and state Medicaid program rules and regulations.
Knowledge of Medicare cost report software such as, Health Financial Systems.
Proficiency with MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) required.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement preferred.
Combination of experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and prepare Medicare and Medicaid cost reports.
Coordinate and review Medicare and Medicaid cost reports.
Coordinate and prepare reimbursement related consulting projects.
Train and develop staff.
Maintain a working knowledge of rules and regulations of the Medicare program and State Medicaid programs.
Research various topics as necessary for clients or CliftonLarsonAllen personnel related to Medicare and Medicaid regulations.
Responsible for the development of services to provide to CliftonLarsonAllen clients and potential clients to positively impact revenue.
Become actively involved in practice management, i.e. participating in professional organizations and associations which develop/build relationships with clients, potential clients, and industry leaders, etc.
Research related to Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement and developing a reimbursement library.
