The Senior Reimbursement Analyst is responsible for various functions and support related to Governmental and Commercial/Managed Care reimbursement evaluation, analysis and financial reporting. Assist with various Cost Reporting to Government Payors and provide various patient and financial reporting and analysis work for leaders, staff and consultants. The Reimbursement Analyst role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively present and interact with all levels of the organization. This role involves working collaboratively as either a facilitator or participant on projects that involve multiple stakeholders, while promoting positive and effective working relations. The analyst will also be responsible for informing and educating others, including training of new staff, on procedures and concepts. Additionally, the ability to write effective summary level documentation for clear and concise communication of data analyzed and to create, implement and optimize stakeholder reporting is essential. This role requires high proficiency in all aspects of MS Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to create, modify and trouble-shoot spreadsheets for data analytics. Strong analytical skills are needed to analyze complex data and all types of provider reimbursement. The role demands high productivity in a self-directed manner with the ability to coordinate projects, prioritize tasks, track status efficiently, and demonstrate defensible judgment in making independent decisions. Effective time management and prioritization skills are crucial for handling a large workload across multiple projects and departments.
