About The Position
The Rehabilitation Therapist, under appropriate supervision, will implement comprehensive transdisciplinary based rehabilitation and behaviour management assessment and intervention protocols for acquired brain injury (ABI) clients of varying levels of complexity.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education, with a health-related degree or diploma.
- Certification in CPR, Standard First Aid required.
- Demonstrated ability to perform all aspects of daily patient care (personal care, feeding, safe transfers, implementation of therapies etc).
- Demonstrated computer skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Evidence of recent ongoing learning.
- Flexible for a work schedule that includes shifts and weekends.
- Demonstrated willingness to be flexible in location of providing care.
Nice To Haves
- OTA/PTA background preferred.
- Crisis management training preferred.
- Relevant recent work experience with ABI population preferred
