Rehabilitation Technician
About The Position
Under the guidance of licensed physical therapy staff, assist with patient care, therapeutic modalities, clinic upkeep, and daily operations. This role involves guiding ambulatory and wheelchair patients, fitting and positioning them on exercise equipment, and monitoring their responses during treatment. The technician will safely administer modalities such as e-stim, ultrasound, cold laser, and heat/ice packs, and assist with therapeutic exercises and hand therapy under licensed supervision. Responsibilities also include managing opening/closing duties, maintaining clinic cleanliness, sanitizing equipment, handling laundry, restocking treatment rooms, answering phones, taking messages, filling out forms, and handling facility-dependent administrative tasks.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18-years of age
- High school diploma
- Personable, energetic
- Capable of working with a diverse patient population
- Capable of working in a team environment
Nice To Haves
- Degree in Pre-Physical Therapy coursework or a related field
- Demonstrating interest in pursuing a career in Allied Health
- Equivalent experience or qualifications
