Lifepoint Rehabilitation partners within Baystate Noble Hospital's 15 bed Acute Rehabilitation Unit. Our rehab professionals offer individualized treatment programs for patients 18 years and older, caring for a variety of situations. Baystate Noble Hospital is a 65-bed acute care community hospital located in Westfield, Massachusetts. As part of the Baystate Health network, we provide access to world-class physicians, advanced treatments, cutting-edge diagnostics, and the latest medical technology. Our inpatient rehabilitation program supports patients recovering from life-altering injuries or illnesses, offering 24/7 nursing care and continuous support. We treat a wide range of conditions, including concussions, lymphedema, orthopedic and sports injuries, lower back and neck pain, and neuromuscular disorders. Our comprehensive therapy services include physical, occupational, and speech therapy to help patients regain function and independence.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6–12 months of relevant experience in a rehabilitation setting strongly recommended, willing to participate in on-the-job training after orientation
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Responsibilities

  • Supports the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team in an inpatient acute rehabilitation setting by assisting with patient care activities that promote recovery and functional independence.
  • Under the direction of licensed therapists, this role helps implement treatment plans through patient transport, preparation of therapy areas, and direct support during therapeutic activities.
  • Observes and reports patient responses to treatment, ensuring clear communication with the care team to support safe and effective outcomes.
  • Plays a key role in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment while adhering to all safety, infection prevention, and patient privacy standards to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
