Rehabilitation Technician (per diem) -Outpatient – Days/Evenings
About The Position
The Rehabilitation Technician will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the clinic and equipment, managing inventory of supplies, and assisting front desk staff with administrative tasks such as billing, scheduling, and communication. Additionally, the technician will support Physical, Occupational, or Speech therapists with patient care activities as needed. This is a per diem position with hours as needed, potentially covering weekdays between 7 am-7 pm or Saturdays from 8 am-12 pm, as clinics are open during these times. Travel between Evanston and Skokie locations is required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience or observation/volunteer hours in a rehab or clinical setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Sort, store and keep inventory of linens, supplies, equipment and forms
- Ensure cleanliness of clinic and equipment
- Assist front desk staff with billing of treatments, patient scheduling, answering phones, typing, filing and faxing
- Assist the Physical, Occupational or Speech therapists with patient care activities as needed
