About The Position
The Rehabilitation Technician - Inpatient position at Skokie Hospital is a part-time role requiring 24 hours per week. The schedule includes one late shift until 7:30pm, with specific hours on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, and Fridays from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm. This role involves rotating weekends and requires working two holidays per year (one summer and one winter). The technician will assist Physical, Occupational, or Speech therapists with patient care, manage inventory of supplies and equipment, and help with therapy scheduling.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience or observation/volunteer hours in a rehab or clinical setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist the Physical, Occupational or Speech therapists with patient care activities at the bedside and/or in the open gym
- Sort, store and keep inventory of linens, supplies, equipment and forms
- Assist with therapy scheduling
