About The Position

The Homecare Rehab Scheduling Coordinator assists the home care department in providing quality care and services to patients and their families by performing day-to-day staffing/scheduling functions and other administrative duties for the rehab team. The Scheduling Coordinator triages phone calls from and communicates information to patients and their families, facility staff, the therapists, and other department staff regarding scheduling and other pertinent issues.

Nice To Haves

Post secondary education
Background in staffing/scheduling
Background in customer service
Experience in medical setting

Responsibilities

Performing day-to-day staffing/scheduling functions for the rehab team.
Performing other administrative duties for the rehab team.
Triaging phone calls from patients and their families, facility staff, the therapists, and other department staff.
Communicating information to patients and their families, facility staff, the therapists, and other department staff regarding scheduling and other pertinent issues.
