About The Position

The F/ACT Rehabilitation Specialist will work closely with the Independent Living, Housing and Employment Specialists to assist SMI clients in obtaining or maintaining needed supports for daily functioning. The Specialist works closely with the client’s Case Manager and Clinical Coordinator to ensure that needed services required for functioning in the community are delivered. This role requires mobility, with 80% of time will being spent in the field working with or visiting with clients to review progress or assigning additional services.

Requirements

Highschool Diploma or GED required.
Current AZ Driver’s License (valid and in good standing).
Clear 39-month Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Fingerprint Clearance Care required.
Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) in accordance with A.A.C. R9-10-101.33 and CBI Clinical Policies and Procedures
Ability to pass criminal background check for jail visitation/clearance.

Nice To Haves

Associates Degree or higher in a field related to behavioral health preferred.
1-year experience working with the SMI population with additional experience in multiple settings and levels of care, including both mental health and substance abuse preferred.
1-year experience in a behavioral health position providing outreach and engagement activities preferred.
Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred.
Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) within 12-months of employment
Peer Certification (if applicable)

Responsibilities
