About The Position

Terros Health is seeking a Rehabilitation Specialist to join their interdisciplinary team. This role involves working with individuals diagnosed with Serious Mental Illness (SMI) or General Mental Health diagnosis under Court Ordered Treatment at the Oak Recovery Health Center. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The company emphasizes whole-person health through integrated care, focusing on physical health, mental health, and substance use care.

Requirements

A high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 3 years of behavioral health employment experience, OR an associate's degree in behavioral health with at least 3 years of behavioral health experience, OR a bachelor’s degree (not in the field of behavioral health) and 1 year of behavioral health experience, OR a bachelor’s degree in the field of behavioral health and any behavioral health experience, OR a master’s degree or higher in the field of behavioral health.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook.
Must be able to pass typing assessment with minimum 25wpm.
Must have valid Arizona driver’s license, be 21 years of age with minimum 4 years driving experience and meet requirements of Terros Health’s driving policy.
Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or apply for an Arizona fingerprint clearance card (Level 1) within 7 working days of assuming role.
Must pass a TB Test.

Nice To Haves

1 year of supervised experience as a Rehabilitation or Employment Specialist, or Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor preferred.
Knowledge in use of Electronic Health Records - NextGen is a plus.
Bilingual in Spanish/ASL is desired.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with identifying treatment and recovery goals, and provide supportive services to help clients reach their employment, education, and community involvement goals.
Implement services identified in Individual Service Plans, and coordinate rehabilitation-related services for clients served on the clinical team.
Communicate and document client progress toward their recovery.
Embrace the recovery philosophy and promotes a safe recovery environment for clients.
Use brief clinical interventions, Motivational Interviewing, and supportive listening skills to engage and support clients receiving services.
Engage and provide direct support to clients’ natural support systems.
Work in partnership with co-located Employment Specialists and RSA Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors, community program providers, and other parties involved to assist clients in maintaining employment, education, and other meaningful daily activities.
