About The Position

Greenwood Care, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF), in Evanston, IL, has Immediate Openings for Rehabilitation Services Associates (RSAs) to join our team. This is an Excellent Learning Opportunity for Individuals Pursuing a Career in Mental Health! Rehabilitation Services Associates (RSAs) work in conjunction with an interdisciplinary team, offering recovery and rehabilitation support and services to those who live in the facility. Greenwood Care is a 24/7 facility dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals affected by chronic psychiatric disorders. Located in beautiful Evanston, Illinois, residents receive treatment in a residential, homelike setting.

Requirements

21 years of age or older
High School diploma or GED
Basic Computer Skills
Service mindset of compassion, tolerance, and understanding of adults with psychiatric disorders

Nice To Haves

CNA Certification highly desirable
Experience as a Mental Health Program Aide, Mental Health Technician, or Behavioral Health Technician

Responsibilities

Collaborate with consumer and treatment team in facilitating therapeutic treatment plans
Implement therapeutic care plans and activities in a compassionate and caring manner
Recognize, note, and inform treatment team when a consumer is not at their baseline of symptoms and behaviors
Assist medical treatment team as assigned
Help check in all newly admitted consumers and readmissions, as well as assist in the transfer of consumers to different rooms
Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA
Other related duties as assigned
