This role is a key member of the BAS Sales Team, contributing to the advancement of medical technology through transforming patient care. The Bracing and Supports business unit is a market leader, with flagship brands like DonJoy, Aircast, Procare, and Exos, known for innovative products in bracing and support for various body parts. The Sales Associate will partner with the Territory Manager to learn the business, identify and cultivate customers, and eventually manage revenue and close business. This role involves supporting sales calls, promoting products, managing inventory, and developing customer relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related healthcare field required.
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License and current automobile insurance.
  • Must be able to relocate in the specified geography upon assignment to Territory Manager role.
  • Must be willing to remain in the Sales Associate role for a minimum of one year.
  • Applicants must already have full-time work authorization in the United States, both now and in the future, without requiring sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 2 years of healthcare industry experience in customer service or sales related area preferred.
  • Orthopedic therapeutic device training preferred.
  • Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement preferred.
  • Knowledge of orthopedic therapeutic devices and their application preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the Territory Manager to learn the Bracing and Supports business and assist with identifying and cultivating potential customers.
  • Contribute to the growth of the business by managing revenue and closing business (in year two).
  • Partner with the Territory Manager in all aspects of the sales call pattern, including covering clinics, promoting products, managing inventory, and converting customers.
  • Meet and exceed business targets (quotas) in partnership with the Territory Manager and organization.
  • Serve as the primary backup contact for the Territory Manager.
  • Keep the Territory Manager informed of all sales-related activity, market trends, and competitor activity within the territory.
  • Assist the Territory Manager in identifying and qualifying potential sales leads.
  • Introduce the Company’s products to potential customers.
  • Cultivate customer relationships by initiating contact with physicians, clinic staff, and other device users.
  • Partner with the Territory Manager on inventory management and building proper inventory levels and sets to meet customer needs.
  • Tailor promotional messages based upon knowledge of the customer, advise on appropriate product selection, answer customer questions about product functionality, and distinguish Enovis products from competitors.
  • Provide product education on technical and clinical aspects of products to customers, prospective customers, and patients.
  • Measure, fit, and troubleshoot Enovis products, including custom braces.
  • Assist with equipment delivery, set-up, follow-up, and service as needed.
  • Coordinate, prepare, gather, and submit accurate paperwork required for insurance billing in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate commitment to the Enovis Compliance & Ethics Program, Code of Conduct, Sales and Marketing Code of Conduct, AdvaMed Code of Ethics, and all supporting regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Treat Protected Health Information (PHI) with the strictest confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards.
  • Acquire a basic understanding of the field, including regulatory compliance issues, and adhere to these guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
