About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation services for adult and pediatric patients. The role focuses on restoring function, preventing disability, and improving patient outcomes through evidence-based physical therapy practices.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Active Physical Therapist license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)

Must hold documented Specialist Certification in relevant clinical area
Provides advanced clinical expertise and supports program development
Assists leadership in planning and supervising specialty rehabilitation services

Responsibilities

Evaluate new patients and establish measurable, functional treatment goals
Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient progress
Perform diagnostic assessments including muscle, nerve, joint, and functional ability testing
Administer therapeutic modalities and reassess patients regularly
Document patient care, progress, education, and interdisciplinary communications accurately
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for care coordination and discharge planning
Educate patients and families on therapeutic procedures for continued care at home
Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, aides, and student interns as required
Contribute to quality improvement, safety standards, and departmental initiatives
Participate in staff meetings, training, and continuing education programs
Maintain daily statistical and billing records
Provide service excellence aligned with organizational care standards
