Job Summary
Provide support to the clinical team in order to optimize quality and efficiency of patient care.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• No previous experience required
• BLS certification
• Basic computer skills.- required

Nice To Haves

• Office equipment: fax, scanners, copier - preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists therapists with patient care by transporting patients, assisting with a patient's personal care needs and monitoring the patient's condition and reporting status to appropriate individual. 25%
• Prepares the rehab environment for patient care by cleaning and organizing treatment area and stocking area with necessary supplies. 25%
• Assists therapist with patient transfers, bed positioning and exercise prescription, utilizing safe body mechanics and proper technique as instructed. 20%
• Functions as a team member who supports and collaborates well with others. Offers assistance to others and communicates effectively the needs or status of patients. 15%
• Performs clerical duties as assigned. 10%
• Attends department, team and organization meetings as assigned. 5%
