About The Position

The Rehabilitation Aide functions under the direct supervision of a physical therapist, physical therapist assistant, occupational therapist, certified occupational therapist assistant, speech-language pathologist, nurse, or wound care clinician. The aide assists the rehabilitation team with treatment, mobility, and patient care in accordance with hospital, state, professional, and federal regulations and guidelines. The role is also responsible for patient flow, vital signs, and organizing materials and equipment within the department, while supporting safe, patient-centered care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• BLS certification.
• No experience is required.

Nice To Haves

• Healthcare experience as a Patient Care Tech, Nurse-Aide, or exercise specialist.

Responsibilities

• Assist the rehabilitation team with treatment, mobility, and patient care under direct supervision.
