About The Position

Newberry County Memorial Hospital (NCMH) is seeking a PRN Rehabilitation Aide to provide operational, clerical, cleaning, and technical support within the department. This role involves assisting licensed therapists or exercise physiologists in patient preparation and treatment, patient transportation, and managing the opening and closing of the wellness center, including monitoring wellness clients. The position emphasizes making a difference in patients' lives and contributing to the organization through quality care and collaboration.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills.
• BLS certification required or must obtain within 60 days of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous health care experience or interest in a health care field preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide operational, clerical, cleaning, and technical duties related to the maintenance of the department.
• Assist Therapist or exercise physiologist in preparation of patients for direct treatment.
• May assist with treatment under direct supervision of the therapist or exercise physiologist.
• Provide patient transportation to and from therapy.
• Responsible for opening and closing the wellness center.
• Monitor wellness clients while they are in the Wellness Center.
