About The Position
Join a compassionate, patient-centered rehabilitation team in Okemos! We are seeking a dependable and motivated Rehab Aide to support our physical and occupational therapy staff and help patients achieve their recovery goals. The Rehab Aide plays a vital role in the daily operations of our rehabilitation services by assisting therapists, preparing treatment areas, and ensuring a positive experience for every patient.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Interest in healthcare, rehabilitation, or physical therapy preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as a Rehab Aide, Therapy Aide, or in a healthcare setting is a plus (not required)
Responsibilities
- Assist physical and occupational therapists with patient treatments and exercises under supervision
- Prepare, clean, and maintain treatment areas and equipment
- Escort patients to and from treatment areas
- Monitor patients during therapy sessions and report concerns to clinical staff
- Support front-desk and administrative tasks as needed (scheduling, stocking supplies, laundry)
- Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming clinic environment
