About The Position

Under the supervision of the Practice Manager, Rehab Supervisor, and licensed therapists, the Rehab Aide (Hospital Assistant 2) assists in the delivery of care to patients within the practice, providing both direct and indirect support. This role involves performing a variety of personal care and basic clinical procedures, ensuring positive care outcomes. The aide will conduct assigned patient care and review of systems data collection to support specialty care services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology. They are required to learn and assist in procedures and adhere to the Telephone and House Standards as adopted by UCSF. The Rehabilitative Aide actively participates in departmental and organizational programs, including performance improvement activities, inservices, and staff development.

Requirements
