Rehabilitation Aide - Outpatient Rehab - Ortho (Austell, GA)
About The Position
The Rehabilitation Aide is non-professional personnel working under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech-Language Therapist. The role assists therapists with age-appropriate patient treatment, provides administrative support to therapists as needed, and performs general departmental duties in Rehabilitation Services. The aide follows system and department policies and procedures and incorporates continuous quality improvement, customer service, and teamwork into daily work. The position is full-time on the day shift. Hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or BLS Instructor certification, required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
- Good communication and time-management skills.
- Familiarity with medical terminology.
- Ability to prioritize and complete multiple job tasks.

- Patient-related experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist therapists with age-appropriate patient treatment, including occasionally providing a second set of hands during treatment.
- Provide general administrative support for therapists as needed.
- Perform general department duties in Rehabilitation Services.
- Maintain a safe and clean patient care environment.
- Maintain all equipment.
- Ensure supplies are available.
- Follow system and department policies and procedures.
- Incorporate continuous quality improvement, customer service, and teamwork into daily work.
