Rehabilitation Aide, PRN
About The Position
The Rehabilitation Aide functions under the direct supervision of various healthcare professionals including physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, occupational therapists, certified occupational therapist assistants, Speech Language Pathologists, nurses, or wound care clinicians. This role involves assisting the team with rehabilitation treatment, mobility, and patient care, adhering to hospital, state, professional, and federal regulations and guidelines. Key responsibilities also include managing patient flow, monitoring vital signs, and organizing materials and equipment within the department. The aide is expected to contribute to an environment and culture that supports the hospital's mission by helping to provide safe, patient-centered care.
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- No experience required
- BLS certification
Nice To Haves
- Healthcare experience as a Patient Care Tech, Nurse-Aide, or exercise specialist
Responsibilities
