Rehabilitation Aide, Physical Therapy - Specialty Bakersfield (Per-Diem, Day Shift)

We are comprised of a 47-bed hospital with three operating rooms, four cardiac catheterization labs and offer a range of specialty services to the community. Performs patient and non-patient related tasks under the order, direction and immediate supervision of registered physical, occupational and speech therapists.
Requirements
- High School Education/GED or equivalent
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
Responsibilities
- Performs direct and indirect patient care duties under the supervision of appropriately licensed professionals, as delegated by department professionals and management.
- Assists with patient transport and transfers.
- Provides daily and timely patient chart documentation of interventions and services provided in the acute care setting. Documents employee and out-patient treatments, as necessary.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
