About The Position
North Westchester Restorative Therapy and Nursing is seeking a highly motivated Rehab Aide/Patient Transporter. Shifts available: Full-time M-F and Per diem M-F. We are a Progressive Skilled Nursing Facility with state-of-the-art equipment and an amazing team of healthcare professionals. We believe in teamwork and are rapidly expanding and providing opportunities for our staff to grow with us!
Requirements
- Should be highly motivated and energetic
- Thrive in a service-oriented role and love working with people
- Have high attention to detail
- Are outgoing, energetic and have excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift, move, and maneuver necessary supplies and equipment
Responsibilities
- Handles items in accordance with operating procedures
- Maintain and organize rehab equipment
- Helps in escorting or transporting patients within the facility.
- Duties may also include the ability to utilize: Microsoft Office, Faxing, Filing and organization of paperwork and charts
- Multi-tasking.
- Transporting patients to and from rehab.
