About The Position

Come join our dynamic outpatient therapy, community fitness and sports medicine family! Rehab Therapy Aide assists in direct patient care by providing exercise treatments and modalities specifically trained to complete along with patient throughput activities to include initiating the patient's therapy visit, preparing treatments/modalities, equipment cleaning, patient scheduling, and other necessary clinical duties. Assists in clinic supply management to ensure appropriate levels of supplies are present in order to carry out daily therapy operation. Completes other duties as assigned to assist with clinic efficiencies.

Requirements

HS diploma/GED Plus 1 year experience to include patient care, administrative, customer service or related experience
Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
Annual TB Screening, Criminal Background Check, Substance Abuse Testing

Responsibilities

Assists licensed therapists with patient care procedures by preparing patient/supplies/equipment, assisting during treatment, and completing post-procedure clean up.
Assists patients in carrying out exercises that have been written out by Physical Therapists, Athletic Trainers, Strength and Conditioning coaches, and/or Chiropractors.
Ensures appropriate levels of supplies are present in order to carry out daily therapy operations.
Checks-in patients as they arrive at the facility and schedules follow up visits as patients leave.
Monitors department equipment to ensure proper working order. Performs daily/weekly cleaning of clinical areas.
Answers phones, gathers new patient paperwork, and takes copays.
Performs other duties as assigned.
