Rehab Therapy Aide - Inpatient - Encinitas
About The Position
This is a full-time position at Scripps Encinitas, working Monday-Friday with two weekend days per month. The role involves joining the Scripps Health team, which is recognized as a top employer and a Great Place to Work Certified company for 2025. The Encinitas team provides a wide spectrum of rehabilitation services, utilizing the latest clinical advancements and technology to help patients on their road to recovery. The Rehab Therapy Aide will assist in providing age-appropriate services for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including direct treatment under appropriate licensed supervision. Additionally, the aide will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the facility and equipment, assisting with restocking and ordering supplies, and performing clerical duties to support efficient patient care.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- BLS from the American Heart Association
Nice To Haves
- Previous related experience and/or college coursework in a related field
Responsibilities
- Assist in providing age-appropriate services for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including direct treatment, under appropriate licensed supervision, to individuals and groups
- Maintain cleanliness of the facility and equipment
- Assist with restocking and ordering of supplies
- Perform clerical duties to assist staff in efficient and effective patient care
